The spring brake mechanism automatically applies braking force in the event of low/no air pressure. This is a federal law. That was a technical error. Truckers really do have it rough. They work way more hours than people realize, putting up with the stupidest stunt driving that can ever be imagined. They get abuse from every direction. All this for fairly low pay. I know we all read about truckers making a hundred large a year, but I have known many that would like to make more than thirty. I have been in the business for over forty years as a mechanic.

I have removed stuck alloy seat posts by sticking the frame in my hot tank which contains caustic lye solution at about 80-90 degrees C. Alloy tubes just disappear.

It is used to clean engine parts before they are repaired at a machine shop. This is about twenty years out of date, but I use it about three times a year, so one batch will last for a long time. I have people repairing/restoring older bicycles ask for help from time to time. I can also braze and weld with an oxyacetylene torch, and can fabricate or repair many small parts. It is in my shop where I repair trucks and equipment.
