How did you avoid being tried for crimes against humanity? I understand why the PRC may not have held you responsible for taking part in the genocide, but I imagine you broke several U.S. laws while "helping out" with the Cultural Revolution.

Do you feel even an ounce of remorse for what you've done?

Hey everyone, I have a quick question. Because Ann has admitted to knowingly participating in the Cultural Revolution as a U.S. citizen, could she be tried for war crimes? Is this something we should report to American or U.N. authorities?

I understand that she is elderly, but age should not be an impediment to justice. For the sake of the persons who died and were tortured under the movement she facilitated, I believe she should be brought to court.

To meet the rules of /r/AMA, I am compelled to ask the OP a question. So: Ann Tompkins, do you admit to criminal wrongdoing?
