From my cursory research there aren't a whole lot of better alternatives. DHL is also in the $100+ range. Most of the packages I receive from family in the US are in the $70 range, but are typically filled to the brim. USPS ships cheaper than UPS, but it all depends on which tier is used. Flat rate boxes can be in the $20-$50 range I believe and according to their website USPS First-Class shipping for a 3 pound package is ~$30 for a 24x36x36" box. But I doubt flat-rate boxes are a realistic alternative given the size limitations and the fact that you'd have to change some of your standard operating procedures.

I'm not blaming you guys at all, it unfortunately comes with the territory of living on an Asian peninsula the size of Indiana.

Went to buy some pants and at checkout found out that shipping to South Korea via UPS is over $100 :(
