This is the exact reason lawmakers are going to automatically be "wrong" about what they do. Their measurements are so simple they cannot account for more complex situations like yours. The economic fallout from this virus hasn't even STARTED, in my opinion. They will see when they try to re-open.

I'm saying if 2008 took 10 years of recovery and there wasn't a deadly virus involved, it isn't going to only be "months" of recovery this time, it's gonna be years. This time the constant fear of viral death will extenuate the crisis.

Holding a discussion with you is entirely impossible, because you have already rejected every alternative in your mind. The word "nonsense" is an ignorant man's greatest weapon. There are a hundred alternatives, we haven't tried any of them, because the only thing the leaders of this country want is money. It's all about money. Every war, every law, it's all about money. If you think otherwise, I feel sorry for you my friend. Look around, ask yourself if what you believe is actually true. Think critically.
