Ever have any issues with the berry pickers or native Americans near Mt Adams? We have been in some sketchy situations out there. Someone went through our cooler at night, they leave garbage everywhere, and I'm pretty sure we stumbled on a grow op, as we could smell weed (growing not burning), they had several huge dogs, and were extremely paranoid seeming, so we took off quick. They watched is the whole way out of there and even tried to follow us until we bailed off a deer trail and watched them.

I don't go out there anymore unless I'm armed to the teeth. I have also found needles (could have been a diabetic) from someone way out in the forest that had a built shelter and left several needles just lying around. I love Mt Adams, but it has been getting sorta rough out there it seems. Just wondering if you noticed any of that.

With tightening regulation and language within those laws often being somewhat vague, what is to stop someone from claiming a photo of a couple kissing on Facebook isn't pornographic? If an x-gf demands a photo of them embracing each other when they were a couple, on Facebook, be taken down, could it be considered "revenge porn". I understand that common sense and logic say "no", but as we have all seen, definitions get stretched drastically.

For example, my gf and I got tipsy on some wine and had sex last week. According to some groups, I am a rapist for having sex while we both were under the influence, despite still being together. There are groups that say you are a rapist if you lie to someone in order to have sex. Like telling them you want to be in a committed relationship, your career, how much money you have, etc... all rapistits according to some groups that want laws to change to fit within their definition. I'm not bringing this up to argue the definition of rape, I'm merely demonstrating how the definition varies wildly.

I understand that women are victimized, but I also feel further laws and regulation could ultimately open the flood gates to lawsuits from Facebook posts, or just images people don't want to be out there, like a group photo on the beach in a bikini.

What is the definition of pornographic within proposed laws? Do you think education and awareness would be far more effective than new laws?

I work in medical research, primarily mice/rats, some sheep and pigs on occasion. Your personal thoughts on animal model testing/research? Good, bad?
