The slopes of Mt. Kenya are on fire at the moment. Having climbed both peaks, I would send the non-technical climber to Kili. You get to summit on the rim of a giant crater. With, Mt.Kenya, you only can walk up to around 16,000 feet-Pt. Lelana (might have misspelled). You better bring some skills and a lot of rope to summit the two major peaks. Also, the infrastructure is much better on Kilimanjaro—you’re really not likely to die there, but Mt.KenyA is a bit more remote—and a shitload of angry Cape buffalo on Mt Kenya to thrash you.

I’m having problems with a lot of software engineers who are actual imposters these days. High salaries attract a lot of people willing to lie to get the job. Of course they’re usually nervous as hell and flop-sweating in meetings, but it’s hard to be sympathetic or supportive of these fraudsters I would rather fire than nurture.
