You said they put a hole in your hymen, why didn't they remove the whole thing? Seems it would be better for you so you wouldn't have to deal with the discomfort of popping it entirely, for lack of a better term.

I'd also add there's a sort of zen quality to a live model, whereas the artist has to accept the body moving, sinking, changing in the pose, and you have to go with the flow of flesh in time and space. Nothing in nature is static, so when you're drawing/painting/sculpting from life, you're really painting from life...
