I'm really glad I am not the only one that thinks this. I have worked in several labs and writing papers IS your job. Like shit, my coworker and superior got 5 papers out this year and it was just...meh. It's what you get published and where that really matters.

Why is everyone acting like this is a big deal? Seriously not to be a dick or anything but one paper isn't AMA worth IMO....

Get your teaching certificate. You pretty much always need that unless you have a PhD.

Well you shouldn't have posted it on a social website anyways. My boss always told me you need to be quiet about what you do even when it's published. Otherwise, you might be keeping yourself from being included on new projects because they might think you will unknowingly give out info you shouldn't. I'm not saying you shouldn't celebrate, in fact you should, but posting on here was a bad idea by including the paper and your name.
