If you are in a medical marijuana state, you can get things like edibles and drops, as well as strains of cannabis that are low in THC (the part that makes you feel high).

Considering you are on powerful opioids, looking at a more benign pain management options would probably help you long term.

I wish I was in a medical cannabis state, when my daughter had her fusion she was able to tolerate opiods (giving your 13 yo Oxy is unnerving) but man it made her bitchy as hell.

We joke that at least we know she'll never do heroin, since Opioids do not agree with her.

Opioids make me very nauseous as well, so I am really hopeful that in the future cannabis will evolve into an entirely new class of pain relieving medications.

Cheers :)

hehe, that's hilarious. my kiddo had the surgery with the cobalt rods, so now she's a cyborg. she's also gay, so between the spinal fusion and braces for her teeth, we have a running family joke about how we are spending so much money trying to make her straight.

yay for cannabis :)
