Both of those wouldn't be antifungals. One we used for what would be called anaerobic infections and the other can be used for gram positive infections, including mrsa. Micafungin or amphotericin would be options for fungal infections..

I would say at the point when they start shutting down. They usually are short of breath, have a headache, don't quite feel like themselves. At some point (arbitrary line in the sand) our organs start to freak out. Heart rate goes up. We get sleepy. Light headed.
Your organs start to beg for oxygen and let you know. Your chest hurts because your heart is suffocating and you're having a heart attack. Then arrhythmias. Then code.

I don't know how your institution is, but our surgeons are typical Gunners. I'm internal and I feel like we just butt heads with surgery so often it's exhausting. Stop putting my fucking patients on sliding scale insulin!
Anywho, It's much friendlier at the head of bed. You'll find someone capable of empathy. I wish you the best.

I've seen people walk in off the street with a hemoglobin of 4.
It's amazing what your body can adapt to as long as you give it the time. People just sort of adapt.
