I agree.. I'm just currently writing a Physics workbook for a professor who keeps insisting on "converting to base unit" and "just plugging into the formula" rather than even considering dimensional analysis. As an educational professional, this strikes me as all sorts of wrong. Especially when it comes to gas laws with various available constants.

I have always wondered, why do we measure Molar Mass in g/mol instead of kg/mol, if kg is the base unit?

I'm just curious, from a medical standpoint has your doctor tried you on beta-blockers (commonly used to treat stage fright and other anxiety disorders) or any other stronger anxiolytics? If so, have they made any difference at all? Have you undergone psychiatric treatment? Was it of any benefit?

but wouldn't expressing as kg just be out by x10^-3?
