YES! That's just what I was thinking. A halfway introspective person would go 'well I haven't always been at my best'. That would be the absolute minimum response to give to the question and even then it would still be kind of a cop out (I mean, even the nicest person isn't 100% lovely all the time). However, it'd still at least show that he can acknowledge that he has had his share of social transgressions - just like everyone else - and isn't always a happy chappy.
But denying that he's never been anything but pleasant followed by blaming someone else just smacks of an egomaniac with a victim complex.
