Not at all. It's an AMA! I was very fortunate to work with Uematsu and his manager, Ogawa, from 2011 on a small-medium sized project which being released in Japan on PSP. They hired Uematsu for the main theme and I was put in charge of writing all the other music. This is almost identical to what's happening now!

The man, the legend!

It took some time to come through but one couldn't ask for a better person to compose a main theme for a game.

I might chime in from a music department point of view. Normally it's either 1 guy in a shoebox doing everything on his computer or it's a composer with a lot of people around him making sure that everything works and is prepared correctly for submissions, recording sessions etc.

In the future if (god willing) there's a large budget where music staff can be hired. It's always amazing to collaborate with other talents. Be it recording amazing musicians or getting a really talented guy to come in and mix (balance) your work. I wouldn't mind expanding my circle to work with amazing talents at all!

Sorry!! I should start doing more promotion on stand-alone pieces... Maybe a youtube channel? I have a website though ^{^}
