I just yesterday finished reading Michael Gannon's Black May about the war against the U-boats in WWII. While I obviously was rooting for the Allies, I couldn't help but feel sympathy for the things some of those U-boat men went through - we're all human in the end.

Were there any times underway where you felt genuinely scared, or situations where you felt like the boat was in imminent danger with you aboard? I can only imagine the usual concerns a sailor at sea might have in a danger situation would be all the more when you're not readily able to escape.

Congratulations on retirement, and thanks for doing an AMA!

Of all your puzzles, what is the one you are most proud of?

Of all your puzzles, is there one people just don't seem to understand how you'd hoped?

In your experience with escape rooms, what is the most used or over-used puzzle?

Hello there! Is the circus, and circus style performance, a significant or especially popular feature of Mongolia's culture? I've noticed before that Cirque du Soleil has had a number of Mongolian performers - certainly a disproportionate number for a French-Canadian troupe. Do you have a high end training program from which you, they, and others draw talent?

What makes a person a lobbyist? What qualifications does it take? What skills or training does a lobbyist need that the average person who is knowledgeable about something and would love to talk to their congressperson's office doesn't have? How does a person become acknowledged as a lobbyist sufficiently that they can actually get those meetings, versus a person who just wants to argue for something and can't get the time of day? How does a "professional lobbyist" find work? Just spread the word and hope somebody gives them money to go talk to lawmakers?

Awesome, thanks! I didn't realize contortion was a culturally significant activity there. Definitely makes sense why they would go professional with it.
