Why would I buy an E-bike (Journey/Adventure) for $1500 when I can get a polluting 50cc scooter for $750 or so? I get better range (100-150 mi vs 20-30 mi) can refill at and petrol station and go slightly faster.

I would kill for a Ranger/HiLux diesel model in the 2.5/3L range that had selectable 4x4. Not the 2009-current rangers but the smaller models which can still haul pylwood and go camping with but are not monsters like the current "small" trucks.

Reality has a well known liberal bias.
