Every innovation we develop from here on out will have two goals in mind: improve the quality of the beer and increase access to beer. With that said, Synek 2.0 will strive to make the following changes: 1) eliminate the need for a CO2 tank, 2) make the cartridges able to be palletized, and 3) allow the cartridges to be filled with semi-auto filling lines. This would allow SYNEK cartridges to be available in retail stores and provide even greater access to beer.

I think the individual cartridges in retail stores will be a hard selling point because beer is already sold and distributed in bottles. I didn't hear about the Synek until today but the whole selling point seems to be having a beer tap without committing to a whole 5 gallon keg. I'm not sure with what you are planning, but for this to be feasible, you'd have to somehow convince breweries to take the time to fill your cartridges and somehow deal with the distribution to send it to you to package for retail sale.

I think your main focus should be an alternative to growler fills as opposed to a keurig like proprietary system. Your statement on eliminating the need for co2 tanks leads me to believe that you are planning to take a strategy where you are the selling beer filled cartridges en masse to consumers. I think the problem is with that is that on the consumer side, they could easily buy a sixer instead of buying an expensive unit just to be able to buy beer from you.

I think you have a good concept and I would probably buy it if I was certain I could get fills at any of my favorite SD breweries. My issue with growlers is that I have to finish it when I open it or else it goes off. It seems that with your system I could have the best of both worlds. I think you should really focus on that element of your core strategy instead of trying to sell beer cartridges at Target.

Are you not buying online?

I pay the same price online still. B&M always has a markup.
