What did you learn about yourself on this trip that you did not know before?

Which lab do you think was unlikeliest to discover and which one felt like it was inevitable? Why?

I am just now looking at the Jane Herriman's intro video. Seems normal and expected for a language like Julia. However, I was wondering if Julia has Haskell-like pattern matching (on both left and right hand sides)? Have such features been discussed, rejected, tabled?

Since you worked in the Western Ghats, what's you assessment of the state of overall biodiversity in the Ghats? What do you see as the main threat to the environment besides population and urbanization?

Thanks for the reply. We are so addicted to pattern matching that it has all but smoothed modern programming.
