Seeing how you're also a swimmer, do people (non-cubers) generally view you being a cuber a really unique side to you seeing as it's more or less 'geeky'? Is it something you bring up with friends or people in general to get to know you or is it something that people know as they get to know you better?

I agree with that. Although I'm nearing Sub-20, being around the 22-23 mark I would consider myself successful in a way that I committed to doing something over a long period of time and have kept at it compared to all my other hobbies, friends still think it's a negative attribute, it doesn't help me make friends, makes me look geekier, nerdier etc.

I guess with friends or close friends they're pretty supportive about this?
