Legalizing Marijuana is one thing, but changing the very nature of the drug war such as what you propose will also require some fairly substantial changes in how we handle health care as a nation as well. I don't believe you can just shift the burden of dealing with addictions from one giant profiteering industry to an even larger giant profiteering industry and expect things to just go smoothly. You will need to have the framework in place to support rehabilitation and addiction treatments before ending the war on drugs and as we've all already seen so far, Congress can't pull their heads out of their asses when it comes to shaking up the health care industry. At best we'll end up with two or more broken systems instead of a single functional one.

Edit: It took an act of John Jon just to get Congress to stop fucking around and actually support the heroes of 9/11 at the 11th hour. We're still terrible at taking care of the soldiers who fought for this country or for the honor of the chickenhawks. What makes you think anyone will be willing to look out for the common citizen?

I enjoy having a browser extension that blocks many advertisements.

I enjoy having a browser extension that has automatic push email notifications and reads the titles out loud to me, allowing me to open them right to my email page.

I enjoy having a browser extension that allows me to instantly communicate with my friends and family members while also automatically receiving and notifying me of their messages.

I enjoy having a browser extension that remembers my ridiculously extensive account and password library and automatically populates them on the appropriate websites.

I enjoy having a browser extension that modifies the look, feel and function of Reddit.

I enjoy having a browser extension that allows me to highlight a word I don't know and provides me with a definition of said word.

These are all things I've come to appreciate and in many cases rely upon. If these things are not available on an alternative browser, then it's going to be much harder to provide me with a reason to switch other than privacy.
