Holy fucking shit. You're a psychologist and you don't see any problem with this? There's your problem right here. Brutal honesty might be hard to hear but it has the advantages that there is nowhere to hide for a hypocrite or a sociopath or other manipulative personalities which are the ones who set the tone regarding dehumanization. Other people see it, see it has advantages and decide to copy it.

This is complete bullshit. The cruelest people are the most polite people because they need to hide their shitty behavior. May I suggest you watch an episode of Black Mirror, if you haven't already, S03E01, it explains perfectly what I'm saying. The moment where it all went to shit was where people realized that violence was not wise because it put everyone in danger but people still needed to fight their battles somehow so they chose manipulation (which they learned from women since women could never use violence, and I am a woman myself btw). You can't manipulate people if you see them as people, you need to see them as cattle (a resource). Btw the same applies to violence, the only problem is that you can't use violence on friends and family and still call them friends and family, whereas you can use manipulation perfectly.

My point is, tldr, people will always need a way to win and it will always be at the expense of other people because there rarely is such a thing as win-win. And the more people you have to potentially fight (globalization), the more you will have to detach yourself from them and their feelings and humane qualities.
