Did you not read what I said???

I asked why people are surprised that such a high statistic occurs under these circumstances. Don't insinuate something so derogatory towards me because you can't read, I take high offense to this as a victim.

YES, I know it's illegal and I DID NOT suggest anything otherwise.. for anyone else who cant read, or wants to pick and choose words out of a whole entry and twist them.

They are very valid questions. I think it would be obvious that in an environment where drugs and alcohol are highly present, the rate of carnal-uncivilized activity would be higher. Especially when people (of both genders, I've seen too much) are half or wholly naked while under the influence.

I am not saying it condones it at all, nothing does; there's zero excuse for sexual harassment. I just don't understand how people are surprised or expect much different from these environments considering all the factors that come into play.

What fact am I ”making up”? I've been to multiple music festivals, alll of them had varrying amounts of drugs and alcohol in the community. That is a first-hand observation. The most apparent observation being that many people are (almost/fully) naked or acting like animals. While there are plenty of free spirited people that take part in these actions while sober, I can say personally that I've watched perfectly nice people turn into monsters because of substance abuse, both alcohol and drugs. So do not tell me there is zero correlation. There is also vast differences in festivals, the crowds they bring, and the security/support provided. I will soundly state that the higher quality festivals with more friendly crowds, and better security & staff had way less observable altercations (ie: fights, theft, harassment both in the venue and on campgrounds) than the lesser quality festivals. Please go to a few then come tell me I'm the assuming what a festival is like.

And where on earth are you getting that

The expectation is always that noone gets raped. Just like the expectation is that noone gets murdered.

I don't know anyone who thinks in such hyperbole's.
