BioMed engineering grad student. Just learned about CT and MRI this week, truly fascinating stuff. What future do you see for medical imaging in the world of big data? I would imagine that using a person's genetics, medical history, and scans of other patients with similar backgrounds could paint a better picture for treating various problems. How has big data affected your field?

I am a huge fan of rock and roll, particularly early prog rock like Floyd, Genesis, Moody Blues, and Jethro Tull. I know very little about hip hop. Given that the music I like most is densely arranged and heavy with meaning, what hip hop artists would you recommend I listen to in order to get into the scene?

Hey Katee. First, I'd like to say that I'm a huge BSG fan and it's one of my all time favorite shows. I believe the show was a huge step forward for science fiction in mainstream television, paving the way for shows like Fringe (also a favorite). Okay, formalities of sucking up out of the way.

I have a lot of actor friends who say they take a piece of their characters with them into their life. What would you say you have taken away from Starbuck, as well as other roles you have played?

Also do you take souvenirs from sets and if so, what kinds of things do you take?
