I'm sorry that you were paraded around. As /u/notonthisbus mentioned, it is important for physicians in training to see as many diseases and conditions as they can. Hopefully those medical students were able to take that experience and use it to lobby more strongly for their patients to get vaccinated.

I think a big reason we are having the anti-vaccine movement currently is because people (and doctors) have forgotten how bad these diseases were! Many young physicians have never seen measles or polio or even chicken pox. Thank you for reminding us why it's so important to vaccinate.

And then there's the shinkansen!

When is LA going to realize that FastPass lanes are not a way to reduce gridlock, but to punish those people who can't afford to pay extra to get to work on time? With highways that are 5-6 lanes across in some areas, we should begin allocating more lanes to carpools, and not just one lane intermittently. If you want to make carpools a viable system, you need to force the people to do it, and not just the poor ones.
