Monopolies seems to be the primary source of a lot of our current problems, including net neutrality. What can the FCC do to break up internet provider and telecom monopolies?

Some have said that the FCC has fallen victim to regulatory capture? Do you feel that this is true and how does the FCC remain independent of pressure from the businesses you're supposed to regulate?

if we are trying to have an open internet for all why is there no concern about free speech protections

There is a concern, but that's not what net neutrality is about. Net neutrality is about one company - my ISP - which has complete control of my access to the internet and therefore my access to every other company's content. That's a situation that's ripe for abuse if, for example, the ISP decides to favor its own content over a competitor. That's exactly a situation where government regulation is warranted.

Google restricting its own content on Youtube is an entirely different issue. Generally businesses are free to do that, and the free speech actually comes from the government not getting involved. You don't want the government telling Google what they can and can't host on Youtube. That would restrict Google's 1st amendment rights and lead to government censorship.

What you're really complaining about is a lack of competition, which is a problem with ISPs and dominant websites, but is also not part of net neutrality or the FCC (as already answered in my question on this thread)

Also in the church there's this notion of sanctity, so allegations like that get a lot more attention. Everyone knows Hollywood is a cesspit so it's not that shocking for the press to say "Hollywood is a cesspit" and people will even defend it by saying "parents should have known not to take their children there."

And that, folks, is showbiz.
