The fact that Rook and Allette represent two of the themes in TBS (hopelessness and hope respectively) is a fascinating division.

Definitely makes each play through unique! (also totally add more gray hair, I loved seeing Rook disheveled in TBS2)

When are you going to apologize for making me cry every time I finish The Banner Saga? It's already emotional enough without We Are All Guests Upon the Land playing in the background!

(Seriously though your score turns an already phenomenal game into something truly special!)

Hello Stoic!

First, let me say how much I appreciate the time, effort and love you so obviously pour into your games: the level of commitment to such an ambitious project from such a small team is always wonderful to see in a games industry flooded with big-budget titles. Your community involvement is also admirable: your Twitter is active and responsive, and you show as much support for your fans as we do for you!

There are so many things I love about the Banner Saga, from the unique and engaging combat system to the deep lore the narrative is embedded in. I have always wondered what inspired the setting and story of the game.

Could you give us an insight into the inspiration for the game? What made you choose the setting you did, and what repercussions did that have on the mechanics and gameplay?

The other two games have come to PS4, haven't they? I can't speak for the team but if be surprised if BS3 never made it to consoles.
