In an interview I heard Ted Chiang talk about how an artificial intelligence would require the same juvenile period as any biological intelligence, I.e. a true intelligence could not spring from our heads like Athena but would need to grow experientially, I think I have him right, do you agree?

Surely you would only 'enter' your mum if you were erect, which I assume would mean you were into it. also what's stopping either of them moving away? this whole scenario sounds awfully suspect to me. A little too convenient.
