I'm so sorry to hear this. You will be in my thoughts. Please, be careful about vitamin k - it pops up in some unexpected foods, like spinach and cranberries. Read those labels carefully and get a list of "avoid" foods from your doc. If they put you on Metapropol (aka Lopressor) avoid grapefruit and grapefruit juice. It destroys the medicine's effectiveness.
