Serious Sam was probably my favorite game as a kid (first and second encounters) and I was stoked for Serious Sam II. I enjoyed it, but even as a kid I remember thinking how different it was. Almost as if it was... not serious enough. Like with clowns and shit. Then Serious Sam 3 kinda went back to the original feeling, serious but not serious. So I guess what I'm wondering, is what was the deal with the second one? Why was the atmosphere/tone/feeling so different? It almost seemed like it was developed by a completely different team (I even checked Wikipedia at one point to make sure it was Croteam). I've been interested in this since I first played Serious Sam II and it would be great to hear about it from you guys.

For what it's worth, drop in/out multiplayer used to be great in PoE. I recall joining public parties for Dominus runs when he was the final boss, and chaining different tier maps even after that.
It seems like the game as a whole has grown away from that type of gameplay though. League mechanics that aren't group friendly, bosses that are easier solo, micromanaging maps/atlas/watchstones, etc. It's like GGG didn't particularly care to keep the game group-friendly. If EHG makes it a point to maintain the group-friendly gameplay I think they can do so easily.

Yeah I struggled with this for a while because I don't have a numpad. Luckily my mouse is able to provide the same kind of functionality, which is nice. But native support would be great.

I keep seeing people say this in Hong Kong threads, but what do those tariffs have to do with the Hong Kong situation? Unless I missed something, they seem totally unrelated. Were there some new tariffs put in place specifically in retaliation to China's pressure on Hong Kong? And if so, why tariffs and not sanctions?
Idk man, the tariff argument doesn't do much for me. But please put me in my place if I'm off base here.
