The main challenges on iPad 2 is that it has a really low resolution camera. The iPad mini (non-retina) has a high resolution camera but has relatively low memory available.

I'm needing to do some special case coding to be able to support these devices.

The plan is for Android this year. We'll definitely be reaching out for beta testers, and Kickstarter backers will be first on that list.

I just use wheel of lunch to determine my food choices. May switch to Soylent soon so I don't have to think anymore. :-)

You can always use grid paper for a first draft, but to be able to scan into the app, we need the levels to be drawn on the sketch sheet. You can print out sketch sheets from the sketch guide on our website.

Our team has a variety of experience. Pixel Press was formed about one year ago, and Floors is our first app release.

For myself, I've been programming since about 1987 and released over a dozen iOS apps thru my own company or completed on-contract.

My best experiences developing Pixel Press Floors have been visiting classrooms and seeing kids getting excited about what we've made.
