Agreed! Those parts feel about the same to me as the "mythologist" lady from the first season (I wasn't a huge fan of her). You guys are there to test the myths, not be stand up comedians...

Edit: I guess she was technically a "folklorist"

So I made a point to go to a Waffle House once, after being really excited, only to find that they were... out of waffles. That was a letdown and still haven't had WH waffles. How often do you run out of waffle mix?

Edit for some context: There were 8 of us in a van doing a 24-hour drive from Miami to Detroit. We had seen Waffle Houses studded on the side of the highway all the way up from Florida to the middle of Ohio. We built it up to be a magical place with the best waffles in the world. We made a point to stop at the very last Waffle House on our way north, and this is where we found the waffleless Waffle House. :(

Enjoyed your video -- thank you for positing it on YouTube! 1) Do you think the illustrations are original to the manuscript, or could they have been added later? 2) You mention there being evidence of multiple authors -- is there evidence of multiple illustrators? 3) I'm very curious about the somewhat unrealistic portrayals of the plants, and wonder if you think that may be drawn based on descriptions (perhaps in the manuscript) by someone naive? Thanks! Sorry for the mass of questions!

So glad to hear you're doing well. I'm a current medical student and just learned about osteosarcoma today -- we were told it affects adolescents around the knee with early metastasis to lungs... so your case sounds pretty textbook! From all your experiences in the hospital, what have been some of your best interactions with doctors? What about worst? Any advice to future doctors? Congratulations again on coming so far already.

Edit: also curious how you discovered you had cancer. Was this caught at a well-visit to your GP or did you go because something seemed wrong? Sorry for all the questions. :)
