I was going to say the same thing, although note that rarity in distribution isn't a reflection of relative value

If 99 kids have 1$ and 1 kid has 2$, that top 1% kid has twice the money of all the others even though he's the top 1% of the population (not the best example because it's not realistic, but it's hard to give an example that illustrates the point well)

So even though he has a very rare low level of intelligence, it doesn't mean that his intelligence is proportional to that rarity.

In a sense, half the intelligence of a human could be considered the intelligence of a fish. There is no accepted/valid weight to which aspects of intelligence are more valuable than others, and to what specific numeric degree.

While saying that it's half intelligence because the number is half is erroneous, it's still more accurate than saying that he's something like 1000 times dumber because he's in the bottom 0.1 percentile.

Why hasn't a single person said vulva in this entire thread? (at least without expanding extra comments) Isn't the proper way to describe it simply 1 vulva with 2 vaginas? Although I suppose it's also important to mention two uterus as well and 4(?) ovaries.

Probably similar to how being in a car can give sickness, but not when you're the driver.

Like regarding that example, it's clear to anyone that if you rotate an object really slowly —like one revolution per day— nothing is going to go flying off of it, so why would the earth be any different? (I guess they're thinking in distance per second rather than degrees?)

I'd wager the coins in my pockets that the next day that entire place would miraculously have entirely new staff.

Or at least that that is what the staff themselves would justifiably think, whether or not it would actually happen for certain.
