Are you concerned that services like Google flights make it easy for normal people to find it exceptionally cheap air fares?

99.9% of people still miss easy opportunities to get less expensive fares, not to mention the very good fares that are quite easily available and guys like this send out.

And then there's a whole nother level of actual travel hacking beyond all of that.

You are not a flight hacker. You merely find 'good deals' or 'glitches'.

Or are you? What was the Pineapple Poke? What's a 3x? What's your best current FD?

Charity-rating websites are not particularly useful if they are only judging the amount of money that goes to overhead v. cause. Homeopaths without borders has little overhead, so it would score well, but it doesn't exactly have a positive impact giving drugs that don't work out to those who need real medicine.

What matters is impact per dollar. GiveWell is the real leader here, while Giving What We Can and a couple others also work to determine what charities do the most good with the amount of money they have.

It's not done. It's just not done. No McDonald's cups, even if they just have water in them (because it's a coke company), etc.

Someone would immediately tell you to throw it away before someone saw it if you accidentally did, or maybe assume you were doing some sort of competitor research.

Hi Peter, what do you think is the game-changing next step for effective altruism to have major growth?
