I don't think so. I think he just wanted to share the fact that he was in the guardian

It’s crazy. My nephew is in the repeating phase where he just repeats every new word he hears. I was on FaceTime with my brother the other day, were in the middle of a conversation, my brother was taking about a scenario at work and ended his sentence (with emphasis) on the word “fuck”.

Suddenly, you hear in the background “fuck fuck fuck”.

I really do believe kids of all ages are capable of way more than we give them credit for. I’m a football coach (6th & 7th graders) and we run an INCREDIBLY complicated system. We did the math, and if you combine all of our different formations, motions, and plays, we can run like 6000 different combinations. And we do. We run it all. We try it all.

Some of the parents thought I was crazy. Some coaches thought it was way too much on them. For a couple of the kids, it was. But for 90% of them, it was engaging. It was exciting. It was challenging. And they all bought in. Even the two who really struggled to learn the playbook, found their niche on the team and got really good at one simple thing.

At the end of the year, my conversations with my QB were him telling me, “hey they haven’t closed the middle of the field once. I’ve been seeing nothing but cover 2 and 0 so let’s bring in the TE and run him up the seam.” And me stuttering out an “uh, okay...” and wondering why I’m even here calling plays anymore.

Kids are amazing creatures. Get them invested in something, give them the tools and material, and just let them learn. They usually love it.

Wouldn't that be a good thing? Getting into a long extended debate with your client who you're charging by the hour?
