I often wonder how children in these strict religious communities are treated. What kind of treatment are you looking to protect children against and what kind of legislation are you hoping to see that would accomplish those protections without infringing on rights?

To be fair I grew up in a nonreligious home and still got beat. More than the belt, and my dad used the buckle side sometimes. Once threw me through a solid wood door. My mother tried to beat me with a kitchen mallet once. I ran away a few times and the cops kept bringing me back.

Personally I'm an atheist, but I don't think it's necessarily religion that makes parents terrible people, I think terrible people sometimes become parents.

Been reading for about 45 minutes, is anyone buying what he's selling? It's just vague enough you can't pin down what he's actually for in regards to hit button issues.

As an ISP, what are your thoughts regarding net neutrality? Specifically, do you think that regulation of ISPs as a utility is promoting fairness and competition or will hinder further development of infrastructure?
