A couple of story questions.

Am I crazy in thinking that the Templars were the "good guys" and Connor was the "bad guy" in Assassin's Creed 3? Or are we not getting the whole story about the Templars? It seemed to me as if Connor would have gotten everything he wanted if he had cooperated with the Templars.

In fact his entire motive for revenge is completely misguided! Lee didn't order that his village be burned. Washington did! So despite the fact that this was clearly revealed to him, what does Connor do? He kills Lee at all costs and saves Washington.

I don't get it. Please clarify. Is Connor meant to be someone this misguided?

Also, were the Templars aware of the impending armageddon? If so, why wouldn't they work with the Assassins? I think saving the world would be something that has both sides' best interests.

Thanks.
