I live in Houston but went to Odessa last year for a funeral. The main thing that I thought was crazy about that town was that you could earn $13 an hour at McDonald's cause the adults are working in the oil business and the majority of the kids don't need or want to work cause their parents are so rich from the oil business. Of course the high minimum wage exists only because the cost of living in that town is so high, so it pretty much evens everything out. But still, $13 an hour is a lot! Good luck and go mojo!
