It's not nearly as good as you think. Firstly, you won't make $18 an hour. You make $0.30/minute. It's highly unlikely you would be working 60 minutes out of an hour. Second, you are an independent contractor which means you have no benefits and have to pay additional taxes since you are self-employed. It's really not very good pay for this type of job in my opinion.

Outstanding research and outstanding question. I have not heard about any of these issues and really wish Governor Johnson would address this. Sadly, it looks like he is simply ignoring it.
