Did you intentionally go in knowing you'd be useless or was there at least the initial intention of doing something useful?

I'm not his colleague, but I whole-heartily agree. It's not about punishment. You die and that's it. This isn't punishment. The punishment is sitting on death row for 20+ years. That being said it should be about alleviating society. Do we need people that have perpetrated multiple murders, child rapist or rapists whatsoever? I'll sound off with a resounding "NO!". Should we be forced to support them for 20+ years while they're allowed unlimited appeals? Again. These people are useless to society and the most sane thing to do is eliminate as well as we do any other waste.

Yes this is the issue. 20+ years with unlimited appeals at tax payer's expense.

No one thinks our system is perfect... by any means, but we could easily lose a lot of these people without any detriment to society.

My 91 year old great aunt just went into a rehabilitation facility for a broken pelvis. What are the most important factors I can look into to make sure she is heading towards a healthy recovery to where she can go home? Is there certain activities or such that I should make sure are being done? Basically any info is highly appreciated.
