my Marine Corps recruiter got called for "special duty" or whatever and they gave him the choice between MP, USMCRD Paris Island DI, USMCRD San Diego Di, or Recruiter, and he chose Recruiter because he gets better living conditions and basically a guaranteed promotion when he gets reassigned in a year because it looks really good to your commanders. He says the job sucks ass but its all going to be worth it making it to Warrant Officer because apparently nobody can tell you shit because your basically in charge of everyone.
