How old school are your tools of the craft?

I'll add that, of all the skills of that ilk, leatherworking is something I know nothing at all about, so I don't know how much the tools have changed over the years if at all.

I leave the door open, and don't have a daughter. I generally don't care about my privacy (I'm very boring), but I do care about everyone else's right to whatever level of privacy they think they deserve. I guess I just don't take very well to this topic being presented as a scare tactic (maybe not the best phrasing). I think (for me) it works better when presented as a possible plight to others, but then my question becomes, how in the hell do I fight a battle like this for someone else?
