Can someone tell me why browser history in Chrome sucks balls so hard?

For URLs that I type a thousand time, I expect the browser to suggest those URLs to me when I start typing them. By the time I type the 'r' and the 'e' into my browser tool bar, I should have reddit at the top of the list. Chrome sometimes gives me the right URL and sometimes suggests 'realtor.ca' (Have I ever fucking looked for a house with you, Chrome?). It's even worse for smutty sites. It won't suggest any of my favourite, um, videos even though I've been back to that page tens of times. And no, I'm not running in porn mode.

Firefox was actually pretty good at remembering pages. I loved that it even knew to search the title of the page. Too bad it crashed every 12 minutes.
