Basically, he's a machine. Last fall he was chronicling a kayaking expedition through the Grand Canyon and another week he'll be ice climbing or skiing. In the same span of time I've laid on my couch watching TV and gone for a few runs.

Erik Weihenmayer is awesome. I saw him speak at a conference several years ago and his story is very inspiring. Makes you think about your own life. Follow him on Facebook
