What was it like your first time working there? Is there a strange story to go with it?

My third call ever as an EMT was similar. 70 year old lady with a little pulse but not breathing. Got there, started CPR and felt her chest sorta cave in a bit from a couple broken ribs. Scared the fuck out of me but I kept doing it cuz maybe she'd live. Oh our suction broke in the middle of it and every compression was a little fountain. Didn't help the paramedics' suction also broke :(
