So true. I hesitate to call myself a Christian in many places on the Internet because the ravening hordes seem to be licking their jaws, waiting to attempt to gobble me up. I am also very progressive and hold liberal ideas, part of "the Christian left" but no one seems to care that I want to be Christ like rather than Christian like. Anyway, I feel your pain.

There is a homeless man in my area who appears to have this disease. Please, please, please do take good care of yourself and remain hopeful.

Jesus, I wrote you the longest reply and my computer ate it. The essence of it was that people in our area try to help the homeless guy and he seems to fade in and out of bad times--but that your fate is not the same. Help yourself by being a good patient and not giving up on your life. You are not fated to anything. The worlds of science and medicine are changing every day. I hope you can believe that.
