Good luck man! I had a total spinal fusion thirty years ago and I'm pain free and very happy. Yeah and I gained about 2 inches in height as well. You will do well, the surgery techniques and doctors are soooo much better too.. Take care!

ALOT can happen in a very short time. Medical Science comes up with all new cures and treatments...Hope on that. I was harrassed as a child as well....it was tough! Now that I'm fifty, I look back and realize it made me stronger to deal with life's many challenges. I also have learned through the news and old classmates that these bully's didn't fair well in life..Two are in Jail, one is working at Mcdonalds...I know working at Mcdonalds isn't something to laugh about...but teenagers can get a job there. He has a wasted life in my opinion. Focus on your Strengths! You're a smart kid, study, work hard...In the end, YOU will be a Winner!
