This is just simply not true. I looked up Romans 1:26-27 in the 1885 Bible you linked and guess what... it's still there unfortunately.

Dale Martin didn't acknowledge the passage at all in his article until the footnotes, where he says he provides an alternative interpretation of the passage. Well... all I can say is that almost no one agrees with him on that.

Don't mistake my intention in pointing this out; I by no means agree with a word of what Romans 1:26-27 says, and I wish it wasn't there either. But I say this, frankly, because there's no way to get around it - the Bible is bonkers, and it's best to just give up this superstition altogether rather than just trying to play Bible gymnastics and explain everything away.
