Sometimes the cameras can't be streamed because of lack of signal, does this always happen at the same point? (e.g. Is it when the ISS is over a certain part of the earth where it is far from any transmitters?) Or is it dependent on other factors, e.g. weather?

Are there any plans to put commercial live streaming HD cameras onto future NASA spacecrafts? Realistically how far away from the earth could footage be live streamed?

Also, the live stream footage the other day from the move of one of the modules was very grainy and yellow - it looked like worn out VHS, is this because the camera hardware is worse or for some other reason?
