Snoop, what's your favourite position?

As a Canadian, I will start to eat horse meat from now on. I have an addiction to shell cordovan.

I didn't imagine you would get back to me or this thread! Just another point in your favour that consistently proves to me you are the man for the job at Allen Edmonds. Not many CEO's give back to their community nor converse with their consumers like you do, Paul. Thank you.

You are correct that AE offers one of the broadest lineups in the American shoe industry. I won't argue that. Besides the short-wing blucher, other holes to fill are a wholecut that is consistently available (I think back to the Westgate/Manhattan/Berkley - all very sleek and beautiful shoes; the Hanover was a bit of a miss); a cap-toe dress boot (similar to many of the Eagle County MTO's; very, very beautiful makeups by StyleForum members); a classic buck (I love the Orleans); and finally more suede offerings in existing styles (such as when the Mora was available in suede).

I am currently in love with the Bleecker Street chukka, although I am afraid I won't be purchasing a pair as chukka boots just don't fit my feet or ankles. And Bob's Chili? I can't wait to have a pair!

While you're here, I also wanted to ask how Allen Edmonds is doing in China? Is the company thinking of expanding beyond Shanghai? When I was there last year I wasn't able to catch a glimpse of AE in-stores, but I saw AE pop up in multiple online retailers.

Paul, you should introduce more classic designs to Allen Edmonds. There are huge chunks in your line-up such as a shortwing blucher. A lot of your styles are repetitive and simply missing the point. By keeping more classic styles as a forefront and filling the holes in your line-up, I am sure you will attract more customers through this avenue. Is it not true that a solid house is build on a solid foundation? AE needs to get back to making simple, beautiful shoes before experimenting with the wacky.

What affect will your investigation have on active-duty officers? I haven't read the article yet, but what have police departments, mayors, government officials said about this?
