I have a similar problem with my JLC Memovox E855. I was quoted an obscene amount (relative to the value of the watch itself) to service it and was also informed that it could take up to a year to perform the service. Both of those seem a bit ridiculous to me. Any advice?

First of all, fantastic work on all of your pedals! I have a couple and use them religiously! So, on to my question... is there any chance you guys might release a firmware update for the timeline which will allow for a chorus effect using the dbucket algorithm by decreasing the ms delay setting allowed?

Thanks. It really is a great watch. But there is no reason a service should take that long and cost the sale value of the watch even after a service. I've had other watches serviced by the manufacturer that we're back within weeks.

Yea, it started acting up again very shortly after so I think it needs to go to JLC or someone that specializes in them. I would have had no issue sending it to them initially if they could have the level of service that Rolex does. That's the part that kills me.

Granted I was quoted 6 months to a year. It would have to go to Switzerland apparently. But even so, I ship stuff to Europe all the time. That should only add a matter of days to the whole process.
