I heard you on the Russia guy, well done. Economists talk about the importance of emotions or perceptions like optimism confidence. Politicians too, Obama "hope". Is the overall goal overwhelming cynisism? I saw you articulate specifically their ends interms of disengagement, inward turn and make Russia great again. It seems like conversely Putin is desperate to create optimism at home. Perhaps it a reductionist view to focus on emotion w but it is also intimate accessible angle. Thanks for your work.

Do you think there should be more oversight and discussion of the FED? Regulated finance?. Even politicians and technocrats seem well intentioned perpetuate inequality.
